Bought for my nephew, 5, after he feel in love with the ones my son, 7, has already. They open into monsters with a magnet. Sturdily made, about 1.5″ around. He was very pleased with the gift.

This was a gift for my 6 year old from Santa. He was so excited to get them, and said they were his favorite gift this year.
By December 26th, he was only playing with the other two Bakugan from the set. When I asked what happened to the third one, he sadly told me it was broken.
One day of play from a 1st grader was more than this toy could take I guess. Disappointing.
