The quality was poor with the set that I received. The limbs did not all bend properly, which caused the kids to get frustrated with them… And subsequently I did too.
It looks like all the parts did not get cut completely through, so some of their joints didn’t work properly. As a result for their stiff joints, they can’t all hold weapons. They can hold their hands up to surrender quite nicely. My kids don’t enjoy the pacifist soldiers as much as I would like.
I attached a picture of the face of one of the action figures. My son said of this one, “I don’t like that guy that much because he has a super duper tired face.”
I think that a likely backstory for him is: His stiff joints rendered him incapable of holding a firearm or running from enemy fire. A grenade exploded nearby. Thus, he has this unfortunate facial deformity.
