In humanoid form, this one looks just perfect, 95% looks like G1 MP with no bricks look! Perfect, but in transformation, it turns to be something that looks like a spacecraft but nothing looks good but a piece of humanoid look spacecraft. Also as a spacecraft it is a little too small too (If considered a spacecraft), and then a spacecraft that holds cassette tape LOL what is that??!!!

Honestly I felt the price for this one shouldn’t be over $20, because if I followed some other reviews turn it to a cassette player look unit, it looks like the design was not even finished! I transformed it to spacecraft just once, and I plan not to do it again, its just fugly.

To transform it to a cassette player , you need to disattach his arms and attach them in the back

Top Critical Review

Siege Soundwave has an excellent robot mode, but the experience as a whole is let down a bit by the lack of any sort of minions and an absolutely lackluster “spaceship” mode.

He fits in well with his fellow Decepticons, articulation is top notch (though the lack of wrist swivels is noticeable), and he looks like a properly good Soundwave. He also does a good job at making his Titans Return predecessor look like an oversized kiddie toy. In addition, mine had a peculiar QC issue where, if you twisted his right arm at the forearm, it would pop out. I cut a bit of excess plastic off, and that helped a little.

Finally, and less to do with the figure itself, he was shipped in an envelope, and the box itself was smashed badly. Thankfully the figure was okay, but this does make me question purchasing Transformers from Amazon in the future.

Answer: Unfortunately this figure does not come with any cassette. You get ir separately. And not transform to cassette. If you have the opportunity try to find the earthrise that comes with all that.

Does he change into a mini cassette player like in the old 80’s cartoons?
Answer: He does but it??s a secret transformation. It won??t be on the instructions. YouTube it so that you could get directions on how to transform it.

Can it fit g1 cassettes?
Answer: The G1 cassettes are too big to fit in Soundwave’s chest. So, no.
